Chances Are
Tuesday – Saturday 10:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. In addition to being a major source of funds for the auxiliary, this ‘nearly new’ shop fulfills a community need for affordable clothing. Volunteers work in three-hour shifts to sort and sell the donations of gently used season clothing and household items. The 'Tis the Season Christmas Store is now open for the 6 weeks leading up to Christmas, selling a variety of gifts and Christmas decorations.

Gift Shop
Open Daily 10:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.  The gift shop is operated by volunteers and provide sundry personal items to patients, as well as offering to the community a wide range of merchandise including hand knitted items, giftware etc. NO G.S.T.

'Tis The Season Christmas Store
Open from November - December. Located at 20 Bascom St., above Chances Are, across from the fire hall in Uxbridge. The store offers pre-decorated Christmas trees and holiday decorations in rustic, traditional, and gold themes. There is a selection of holiday giftware, indoor and outdoor wreaths, and Christmas planters and urns. Seasonal costume jewellery will add sparkle to your holiday outfits. You can pick up hostess and teacher gifts, such as candles, candleholders, and one-of-a-kind ornaments. Choose from gifts in every price range.

Tag Days
An annual two-day event that raises significant funds and requires many volunteers for one-hour shifts.

Membership Drive
During the biennial canvas of the community, volunteers visit door-to-door throughout Uxbridge Township. In addition to raising substantial funds, an important aspect of the campaign is to identify and attract new active volunteers.

Bridge & Euchre
These socially oriented fundraising projects are run from October to May usually on twelve Friday afternoons, with the proceeds helping the auxiliary in a substantial way. For more information contact the Auxiliary office               905-852-9771       

Mini Bazaar
During the year the Auxiliary holds mini Bazaars featuring knitting, crafts and baked goods. Yarn and materials are provided for the volunteer knitters and crafters who prepare for these events. Look for these events in the local paper and on cable television.

Zehrs Grocery Tapes
The local Zehrs grocery store donates $1.00 for every $450.00 of grocery tapes collected by the auxiliary from any Zehrs location. The tap drop boxes are located in the hospital (across from the Gift Shop) and at the Chances Are shop.
